AMSOIL Synthetic PC Series Compressor Oils are recommended for use in single-stage and multi-stage rotary screw, vane and reciprocating compressor crankcases and cylinders, vacuum pumps and other compressor applications. AMSOIL Synthetic PC Series Compressor Oils match compressor manufacturer viscosity recommendations. Available in five viscosity grades.

Peformance Features
AMSOIL Synthetic PC Series Compressor Oils are highly resistant to thermal and oxidative breakdown, which inhibits carbon build-up. The inhibition of carbon build-up promotes efficeient, normal temperature range operation.

AMSOIL Synthetic PC Series Compressor Oils are formulated to keep water from mixing with the oil and deteriorating its lubricating ability. AMSOIL Synthetic PC Series Compressor Oils are also formulated for easy water removal, with no need for specialized water removal processes.

SIROCCO™ Synthetic Compressor Oil

AMSOIL SIROCCO™ Synthetic Compressor Oil is a high quality long life fluid formulated with premium synthetic ester technology. SIROCCO™ effectively prevents wear, oxidation, foam and rust, while its inherent lubricity and thermal conductivity reduce heat and energy consumption, increasing operating efficiency and reducing maintenance costs.

Application Recommendations
AMSOIL SIROCCO™ Synthetic Compressor Oil is a multi-viscosity oil meeting the requirements of 5W-20. It may be sued in applications calling for either an ISO-32 or ASO-46 compressor oil or coolant and is recommended for use in single- and multi-stage rotary screw compressors and vacuum pumps that call for this viscosity.

Performance Features
AMSOIL SIROCCO™ Synthetic Compressor Oil maintains performance across a wide operating temperature range. Its low pour point, high viscosity index and lack of paraffins (wax) make it an excellent all-season lubricant.

SIROCCO™ is also highly resistant to water. It prevents damaging oil/water emulsions, allowing for longer lubricant life and ease of water removal from the sump.

AMSOIL SIROCCO™ Synthetic Compressor Oil resists oxidation, foaming and rust for extended drain performance. It is also biodegradable under the CEC-L33-A94 standard.

AMSOIL SIROCCO™ Synthetic Compressor Oil has higher flash fire and auto ignition points than competitive petroleum oils. Its resistance to carbon formation and its ashless additive system minimize the incidence of deposits acting as ignition-promoting hot spots.

AMSOIL SIROCCO™ Synthetic Compressor Oil safely replaces PAG type compressor oils, such as Ingersoll-Rand SSR Ultra-Coolant® or Sullair Sullube 32®, following normal oil change procedures, without extensive flushing.

Synthetic Antiwear Hydraulic Oils

AMSOIL Synthetic AW Series Antiwear Hydraulic Oils are formulated for long life and typically reduce maintenance costs by extending drain intervals and reducing labor associated with repairs, down time and change outs.

Application Recommendations
AMSOIL Synthetic AW Series Antiwear Hydraulic Oils are recommended for high and low pressure gear, vane and piston stationary and mobile hydraulic systems. They are available in many viscosity grades; choose the grade recommended by the equipment manufacturer.

AMSOIL Synthetic AW Series Antiwear Hydraulic Oils meet the performance requirements of all major hydraulic manufactureres and are excellent for general purpose use where extended drain intervals are desired or in severe duty operations where temperature extremes are encountered. The ISO 15 and 22 grade products, AWF and AWG, are preferred for use in temperatures -20°F or lower.

Deposit-free hydraulic equipment outlasts and outperforms deposit-laden equipment. AMSOIL Synthetic AW Series Antiwear Hydraulic Oils separate readily from water, preventing the formation of oil-water emulsions and subsequent degradation of equipment and lubrication and protections. Ready water separation also promotes easy sump water drainage.

AMSOIL Synthetic AW Series Antiwear Hydraulic Oils' high-quality zinc-based antiwear/antioxidant additive prevents wear in high-speed, high pressure vane and gear pumps while meeting the lubrication requirements of axial piston pumps with bronze-steel metallurgy.

AMSOIL Synthetic RC Series Gear and Bearing Oils

AMSOIL Synthetic RC Series Gear and Bearing Oils are primarily recommended for gear and bearing applications and circulating systems requiring A&O and/or anti-wear additive technology. Made from high quality synthetic base stocks and additive systems, AMSOIL RC Series lubricants effectively prevent wear and protect equipment by maintaining viscosity, resisting thermal and oxidative breakdown, incorporating anti-wear additives, preventing rust and resisting the degrading effects of water.

The high viscosity index and low pour points of AMSOIL RC Series lubricants allow for extended temperature protection and performance. AMSOIL RC Series Oils remain fluid at cold temperatures, providing easier startups, quick lubricant circulation and limiting the need for sump heaters. At higher temperatures, AMSOIL maintains a thick lubricating film, reducing metal-to-metal contact and component wear.

Extreme Pressure Gear Oils

AMSOIL Synthetic SG Series Extreme Pressure Gear Oils are made from shear stable, high quality synthetic base oils and are fortified with additives that deliver high performance in industrial gear applications. These oils are designed to reduce maintenance costs by extending equipment life, extending drain intervals and protecting against wear, pitting and rust.

Application Recommendations
AMSOIL Synthetic SG Series Extreme Pressure Gear Oils are recommended for industrial applications operating under heavy loads and shock conditions and specifying an extreme pressure lubricant. This includes, but is not limited to, enclosed industrial spur, bevel, herringbone, helical and worm gears*, chain drives, sprockets and most metal-on-metal systems requiring extreme pressure additives.

AMSOIL SG Series Gear Oils meet the AGMA ratings for synthetic gear oils and EP gear oils and are recommended for use in applications specifying these standards.

AMSOIL SG Series Oils are also hydrolytically stable, readily separating from water and preventing oil/water emulsions.

AMSOIL SG Oils are fully formulated with sulphur/phosphorus extreme pressure additives, antioxidants, rust inhibitors and anti-foam agents. The thermally stable, extreme-pressure additive systems forms a hard, iron-sulfide coating on metal components, preventing metal-to-metal contact under boundary lubrication conditions, reducing friction and protecting components against shock loading and wear.

*AMSOIL Synthetic SG Series Extreme Pressure Gear Oils are not recommended for use in worm gear or yellow metal containing applications operating at or above 200°F (93°C). Slideway, Chain & Gear Lubricant

AMSOIL Semi-Synthetic WL Series Slideway, Chain & Gear Lubricant is a high-quality heavy-duty lubricant composed of synthetic base oils, large molecule petroleum base oils and additives specifically designed for extreme pressure conditions found in gear, chain and machine tool applications.

AMSOIL Semi-Synthetic WL Series Slideway, Chain & Gear Lubricant provides the excellent lubricity and film strength required to prevent scoring and wear during equipment operations, and to reduce friction for efficient overall performance.

Application Recommendations
AMSOIL Semi-Synthetic WL Series Slideway, Chain & Gear Lubricant is recommended for use on machine tools where mating surfaces operate under heavy loads and slow speeds, including plain bearing slideways of lathes, shapers, grinders, milling machines and various lumber mill equipment. AMSOIL Semi-Synthetic WL Series Slideway, Chain & Gear Lubricant is also recommended for use on open or closed chain drives and in EP gear box applications where tackified EP gear lubes are acceptable.
