AMSOIL Flows in the Cold
Non-synthetic oils thicken rapidly
as the temperature drops. In cold weather, this causes
difficult starting as the engine fights to turn over
against the semi-solid lubricant. And even if the
engine starts, the cold, thick oil will not circulate
immediately, which means some parts of your engine
can run for up to five minutes without any lubrication
at all!
AMSOIL stays fluid at much lower
temperatures. In cold weather, AMSOIL permits easier
starting and instant lubrication throughout the entire
engine. During starts and warm-ups, critical engine
surfaces slide, protected by a tough, reliable film
of oil between them.
AMSOIL Takes the Heat
A hard-working engine generates
tremendous heat, a serious problem for nonsynthetic
lubricants. Oil thickening and oil consumption occur
when high temperatures evaporate the lighter, more
volatile portions of petroleum-based oil. Heat also
causes oxidation, forming gummy sludges and varnishes.
AMSOIL is heat-stable! AMSOIL resists
volatile evaporation and thickening at high temperatures.
It resists oxidation and inhibits the formation of
engine deposits.
Low volatility means reduced oil
consumption. Reduced thickening pro-motes better fuel
economy (because thick oil causes internal engine
resistance) and better engine protection, especially
during cold start-ups when thick oil doesn't circulate
properly. AMSOIL actually cools hot engines and gear
boxes too, reducing stress on components and extending
equipment life.

Availability:
AMSOIL synthetic motor oils are avail-able in quart,
gallon and 2 1 /2-gallon containers, and 30-and 55-gallon
drums.
Performance:
AMSOIL Synthetic 15W-40 Heavy Duty Diesel and Marine
Oil, Synthetic Blend 15W 40 Diesel Oil and Series
3000 Synthetic 5W-30 Heavy Duty Diesel Oil are fuel
efficient, super-heavy-duty, multi-viscosity lubricants
for use in light and heavy-duty diesel and gasoline
engines. Their synthetic base stocks and proven long-life
additives assure performance, economy, and outstanding
protection over extended drain intervals.
Because they meet and exceed the
lubrication demands of virtually every light and heavy-duty
diesel and gasoline engine, farmers with a variety
of vehicles need only stock one of these "all-engine
" oils for their vehicles and equipment.
Protection &Prevention:
Anti-Rust:AMSOIL 15W-40 Motor Oils contain special
rust and corrosion inhibitors to protect against internal
rust,an important feature for equip-ment stored for
long periods,such as farm tractors.
Anti-Deposits:AMSOIL 15W-40
Motor Oils inhibit deposit build-up. They deliver
tough multi-viscosity performance to keep engines
running clean and at peak efficiency.
Series
3000 Synthetic 5W-30 Heavy Duty Diesel Oil
AMSOIL Series 3000 Synthetic 5W-30 Heavy Duty Diesel
Oil, formulated for diesel and gasoline engine use,
offers a combination of engine protection and fuel
economy unmatched by other oils. Independent lab tests
show Series 3000 outprotects other popular diesel
oils even 15W-40 grade oil by a wide margin.
Series 3000 improves fuel economy. Testing performed
by an independent facility showed that class 8 trucks
with AMSOIL Series 3000 in the engines and AMSOIL
synthetic lubricants in the drivetrains obtained up
to 8.2 percent more mpg than matched trucks lubricated
with conventional products. Its a proven long
drain oil. An ongoing fleet demonstration shows Series
3000 used continuously for 80,000 miles offers better
TBN and viscosity retention, soot control and wear
prevention than does popular conventional 15W-40 oil
changed at 20,000 mile intervals.
AMSOIL Series 3000
Synthetic 5W-30 Heavy Duty Diesel Oil is the oil of
choice for applications requiring superior fuel efficiency
or for extreme cold temperature operations.
Synthetic
15W-40 Heavy Duty Diesel and Marine Oil
AMSOIL Synthetic 15W-40 Heavy Duty Diesel and Marine
Oil has been proven superior to conventional oils
in fleet demonstrations and countless miles of over-the-road
use. This oil is preferred for most applications requiring
diesel formulated oil, and is specifically formulated
to control rust and corrosion, suiting it ideally
for marine diesel use.
AMSOIL Synthetic 15W-40 Heavy Duty
Diesel and Marine Oil increases fuel economy, reduces
wear rates, provides extended drain service and saves
truckers significant money.
AMSOIL
Synthetic 5W-40 Premium Diesel Oil
AMSOIL Synthetic 5W-40 (DEO) is the premium choice
for API CJ-4 emission quality diesel oil required
by model year 2007 and newer diesel engines. It delivers
extraordinary lubrication in diesel engines found
in commercial, fleet and personal vehicles. Built
with the latest additive and synthetic base oil technology,
AMSOIL Synthetic 5W-40 Diesel Oil exceeds the higher
performance demands of modern engines. It withstands
the stress of heat, soot and acids to help prevent
deposits, corrosion and wear. AMSOIL Synthetic 5W-40,
with its broad viscosity range, is ideal for winter
and summer use. It resists breakdown and can extend
drain intervals when monitored by oil analysis.
Semi-Synthetic
15W-40 Gasoline & Diesel Motor Oil
AMSOIL Semi-Synthetic Gasoline and Diesel Motor Oil
offers the advantages of a synthetic at a more affordable
price. AMSOIL Semi-Synthetic Gasoline and Diesel Motor
Oil provides outstanding high and low temperature
protection, thermal and oxidative stability and retention
of TBN, dispersancy and viscosity. It is an ideal
extended drain lubricant.
AMSOIL Synthetic Blend 15W-40 Gasoline
and Diesel Oil is formulated for use in mixed diesel
and gasoline fleets, offering topnotch lubrication
and protection at a savings.
Synthetic
SAE 30Diesel Motor Oil
AMSOIL Synthetic SAE 30 Diesel Motor Oil offers outstanding
high and low temperature service and protection. Its
low temperature fluidity is superior to that of conventional
15W-40 motor oils. Its shear stability, low volatility
and high temperature film strength make it ideal for
high-stress applications.
AMSOIL Synthetic SAE 30 Synthetic
Diesel Oil is ideal for applications requiring a straight
grade SAE 30 oil, such as Detroit Diesel two-cycle
engines.
